African Unity Life User Interface Design
Wireframes and user interface design for a South African insurance provider with affordable products and services for the lower and middle income market segments.
Overview
African Unity Life, also known as AUL, contracted Rogerwilco to build them a fresh new website for their insurance products. As their target market is lower and middle income clients they needed a web design that is geared towards this audience with clear journeys and messaging.

Challenge
My initial task was to work out a site structure that defines how every page is internally linked to other, as well as come up with low fidelity wireframes. Once these were approved by client I could move onto the user interface designs that follows their brand CI.

Design
AUL has various products and I wanted the user to be able to distinguish between them visually on the website without too much reading. So, I assigned their secondary brand colours to each product respectively and display them clearly on the landing page as colour bars. This worked well and I continued to incorporate these colours onto their respective product specific pages.

Design
I continued on the trend of using clear visual cues and designed various content types, such as videos, articles, events and image galleries, as different card layouts, although they are of a similar component.
