Nestlé Professional Web Build Pitch
User interface design and prototype pitch for Nestlé Professional, specifically Maggi, to sign a new website build contract with client.
Rogerwilco has a monthly marketing retainer with Nestlé Professional and every now and so often the client launches campaigns to boost their business.
Late in 2019 the client has opened up a chance for many agencies to pitch their web build, design and strategy ideas for a new build of their current product range websites. This build will need to encapsulate all their product ranges which includes the likes of Maggi, Milo, Smarties, Nescafé and many more.

As I only heard of the pitch about 4 days prior to the deadline I had my work cut out for me. The challenge was also to design a website that can fully transform into alternate ranges and products represented by their respective brands, colours and styles. The pitch also only required a design made for the Maggi range while keeping in mind that it needs to be interchangeable between different products.
My main focus of this user interface was to design a concept for the Maggi range and force myself not to be too caught up in the colors for the brand. I almost had to design a colourless user interface to accomplish this. During the whole process I would stop, swop in colours of another range to see if I am still on track and adjust accordingly.
Although under pressure and time constraints I loved every minute of coming up with this concept. Because of the nature of this project where the product was the main feature of the website most of my efforts went into thinking about every layout option the product could possibly be displayed in.
The last thing that also needed to be done was to show how the design would roll out to mobile devices including how the navigation would collapse when on smaller screens.
